She holds MLISc,  Ph.D. Professor & Head of the department of Library & Information Science, SantGadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati (India). Having 19 years of Teaching experience and LIS discipline, Information Technology Application in Libraries and users studies are the subject areas. 69 Research articles published in National and International Journal and Conference Proceedings.

She has to her credit one Major Research Project submitted to UGC and Two books published entitled “Information Needs and Information Seeking Behavior: Library & Information Science Research” and “Sources of Information for the backward and underdeveloped Tribal” from Lambert Publishing, Germany.

49 students are awarded MPhil degree and 10 Ph.D awarded, 02 submitted and 07 students are working under guidance for Ph.D in various universities associated to RTM Nagpur University and SRTM University, Nanded, India. Conducted  “Information Literacy programme” for Women’s in remote areas of Amravati city and various villages.

Also working in different capacities as member of Board of Studies, Senate, RRC (Research Recognition Committee) and BCUD (Board of College & University Development and Coordinator of Women’s Studies Centre, SantGadge  Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
Visited to Malaysia for paper presentation in the Asia pacific International Conference held at Putrajaya, Malaysia on 22nd to 24th June 2011.
