Workshop on “Gender & Education” was organized in collaboration with Department of Education on 12th March 2012 from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at Department of Education. Prof. M. N. Deshmukh, Mumbai conducted sessionsawareness about Gender issues and Designing and developing research proposals. Dr. Sm. N. B. Wankhade, Principal ,ShriShivaji Education College, Amravati chaired the programme and Guest of Honour was Dr. LaxmanraoShivanekar, Ex-Director, State Institute of English for Maharashtra. Dr. G. L. Gulhane, Head, Department of Education took efforts for the success of this programme.
